Our Leadership in Action
Paschal’s Business Team embodies the principles of strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and customer-focused innovation.
We are focused on empowering our team to deliver excellence and exceed customer expectations
Lane Paschal is the founder and President/CEO of Paschal Solutions, Inc., a company he launched in 2000 while working in Nuclear Criticality Safety at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. With a passion for precision and a talent for leadership, Lane has grown Paschal into a thriving firm of over 60 employees, serving a range of high-impact facilities including Portsmouth, the Uranium Processing Facility, Savannah River, and Centrus Energy.
He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he also studied Mechanical Engineering. Lane is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee.
A Chattanooga native and lifelong Tennessean, Lane brings the same discipline and commitment to his life outside of work. When he’s not steering Paschal forward, you’ll likely find him on horseback—he’s an avid rider who enjoys showing horses—and staying closely involved with his alma mater and the Volunteer community. For Lane, engineering excellence and horsepower come in more ways than one!
Clinton Gross is the Chief Technical Officer at Paschal Solutions, Inc., where he’s been a driving force since 2000. With a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri–Rolla), Clint brings decades of insight and innovation to every project he touches.
Clint’s career has ranged from reactor engineering at the Callaway Nuclear Power Plant to pioneering advancements in enrichment technologies such as AVLIS and SILEX. At the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, he played a critical role in rewriting the cascade evaluation and developing an innovative heat exchanger design. He’s also contributed to major initiatives at the Uranium Processing Facility in Oak Ridge and supported Centrus Energy’s HALEU Demonstration Project, where he focused on computer code validation and licensing methodologies to help restore domestic enrichment capabilities. Today, Clint continues to lead a broad scope of technical work, including design innovations for Small Modular Reactors and Microreactors, Criticality Accident Alarm System (CAAS) analysis, and advanced fissile material packaging solutions.
A longtime member of the American Nuclear Society, Clint has served on the ANSI/ANS-8.1 and 8.24 working groups. Beyond PSI, he co-owns Paschal Gross Enterprises (PGE), a research and development firm specializing in prototype innovation.
Clint’s roots trace back to Anniston, Missouri, where he grew up working on a farm—an early start to his hands-on, can-do spirit. He and his wife Tammy have two grown children, Lexy and Levi, and now enjoy the delights of grandparenthood. When he’s not solving complex nuclear problems, you’ll find Clint in his happy places: tinkering with his cars, spending time with his granddaughter, or creating something new in the workshop. Whether it’s engineering systems or sculpting metal, he’s always building something that lasts!
